コメント：非常に作品稀な豊後来国宗の短刀です。室町初期まで上がる豊後の刀は少なく、この国宗については高田の一派とは系統が異なり、丹後国畠住国俊の一派の国宗が永和に当地へ移住して始まったと言われています。鑑定書には室町末期と書かれていますが、室町末期には豊後に国宗は存在しておりませんので間違いかと思われます。刀自体も洗練味があり、高田の作刀とは一線を画しており、拵もオリジナルの黒呂鞘合口拵がついており、好ましい上品な短刀です。
This tanto is Bungo Rai Kunimune of very rare. There are few swords of
Bungo of early Muromachi There is many swords of late Muromachi era in
Bungo province. Kunimune is not Takada school. Kunimune school is Rai school.
The Rai school of the Tango prefecture emigrated to Bungo in the Eiwa era(Nanbokucho
era). It is written to the paper with late Muromachi, but it is a mistake.There
was not Kunimune in the Bungo prefecture in late Muromachi era. Therefor,
