コメント：大和物で時代の上がる在銘の作品は少なく、尚且つ、大小で揃える事は不可能に近いです。この度、南北朝末から室町初期にかけての尻懸則長をご紹介できる事となりました。初二代以外の則長は全て「尻懸後代」という具合にひとくくりにされてしまいますが、この則長大小は南北朝末から室町初期に該当するものだと思います。
いずれにせよ大小ともに古名刀に相違なく、南北朝末～応永にかけての尻懸則長と考えておけば間違いは無いと思います。
